New Penfield Outerwear & Shirting

It’s no secret we’re fans of the Pacific Northwest region we call home—Cascadia to be technically correct. To be fair, though, our friends who lock it down in the equally beautiful-and-burly Northeast know a thing or two about making products that perform, last, and look good doing it. Case in point: Massachusetts-based stalwarts Penfield. We’re fired up to be adding them to the Woodlands line-up of brands. Penfield has a long history of producing quality garments that make use of tested materials, in classic styles and fabrications that are equally at home in the woods or on the streets.

The Corning is Penfield’s riff on the classic work shirt, with subtle details like cat’s eye buttons, double and triple stitching and multi-functional chest pockets. Other standouts include the waxed cotton Dryden anorak, the 60/40 Kasson parka and the down-filled Ottowa jacket.

All Penfield items represent a terrific value, and come from a company that’s less interested in chasing trends than in making solid, functional gear that will look good in your closet season after season. Give them a look, and we think you’ll like what you see.
